Residenzschloss Dresden
Residenzschloss Dresden stands in Dresden as a historic castle and one of the city’s oldest buildings. Its architecture combines Romanesque, Baroque, and Neo-Renaissance forms.
The castle served as a residence for Saxon electors, Saxon kings, and Polish kings. Augustus the Strong led a major Baroque rebuilding after a fire. Wartime bombing heavily damaged the building, and restoration followed. The castle houses museums covering art, history, arms, and coins.

The castle is listed as wheelchair accessible.
