Tessinerplatz

Tessinerplatz is a public square in Zurich’s Enge district, positioned directly beside the Enge railway station. The station building uses granite from Ticino. The square takes its name from Ticino and connects Zurich’s transport network with everyday urban activity. Several Zurich trams serve the nearby Enge station. Redesign work renewed the square and public transport facilities, while Plan Lumière includes the place and station building. Public lighting also marks the square and station building. Today, Coworking Lounge Tessinerplatz adds desks, private offices, meeting rooms, event space, and a coffee bar to the plaza. The lounge supports work, meetings, and conversation. Meeting spaces accommodate workshops, presentations, and gatherings, while local food partners contribute changing lunch options and plant-based choices. Lake Zurich lies within a short walk from Tessinerplatz. Together, the station, tram connections, coworking rooms, and coffee bar give this Zurich square several distinct roles.
