Chiesa di Nostra Signora della Salute rises beside its square with a compact mass and a dome that dominates the view. Its façade carries bas-reliefs commemorating Vittorio Amedeo II and Prince Eugene. Giovanni Angelo Reycend designed the church, whose first stone marked the beginning of a long, uneven building process. The Giuseppini later directed construction and renewed its progress. The dome reached its present form, while Enrico Reffo’s painting entered the Madonna altar.

An air raid damaged the roof, cupolas, walls, and fittings in the neighbouring clergy quarters. The church preserves a crypt dedicated to the fallen of the siege. Leonardo Murialdo’s remains rest here, with a chapel created for them. This eclectic sanctuary connects devotion, remembrance, and parish life through its architecture and layered historical associations. The dome crowns the square above the church’s solemn silhouette. Together, the reliefs and the dome present the clearest visual account of this building’s connection with conflict and faith.
