Zwack Látogatóközpont in Hungary presents Unicum through herbal aromas, family history, historic objects, and the rooms of a distillery. Herb scents fill the rooms around you.

An immersive film follows the Zwack family’s connection with the bitter liqueur through periods of change, difficulty, and renewal. The Zwack family story remains central here.

The exhibition displays rare Unicum bottles alongside family portraits, vintage postcards, early advertising posters, and historic distilling equipment. Each object records a chapter of Unicum’s past.

A collection of miniature spirit bottles adds an international detail to the exhibition, with examples gathered from around the world. The bottles turn a shelf into a visual archive.

The restored nineteenth-century distillery reveals the traditional setting behind Unicum, while the underground cellars hold large oak barrels. Unicum matures inside those wooden casks.

Some parts of the recipe remain secret, linking the present experience with Dr Zwack’s original creation for the emperor. The old process still shapes the visit.

Adult visitors can sample original Unicum and Unicum Plum, served directly from the cask within the visitor centre. Two distinct Unicum flavours complete the cellar experience.

Together, the displays, aromas, distillery, and cellars connect Hungarian spirit-making with the Zwack family legacy. Unicum links the centre’s rooms and collections.
