Plopsa Station Antwerp
Plopsa Station Antwerp brings an indoor amusement park into Antwerp Central Station, surrounding you with Belgian comic characters. Bob and Bobette, Lucky Luke, the Smurfs, Urbanus, and Maya the Bee shape the colourful setting. The attractions occupy space originally intended for a Thalys terminal, placing rides and play areas inside one of Antwerp’s busiest landmarks.
The park first opened in spring 2017 as Comics Station, then reopened under its present identity in October 2021 after Studio 100 took over. Its rides include a racing-car track, Gil and Jo’s carousel, K3 bumper cars, and an interactive journey through Smurf land. You can pedal the Flying Bikes upwards, plunge on Wickie’s drop tower, or test your aim during the Lucky Luke Express. Younger children find a Bumba carousel, Willy’s ball pit, and Maya’s play garden, while character encounters add familiar faces to the visit. A red speech bubble and comic heroes mark the refreshed look, with Bumba joining Bob and Bobette, Lucky Luke, Urbanus, and others above it.
